I got this bat last Thursday for my 12 year old son. We couldn’t believe how big the barrel is and the sound the bat makes is even more amazing. It sounds a lot like a wood bat, but louder. Almost to the point I was worried it is going to crack. But I had a bunch of coaches, some who are very strong hit with it and it held strong. They were all amazed at the pop it has.
We recommend you only use the bat for games. My son’s 29/17 is amazing, but his first Quatro Pro broke after a month. Rawlings took care of a replacement for me.
I bought my sons rawlings Quatro pro in April and it’s now making a rattling sound is it now broke?
The inside of the bat has 3 or 4 floating discs inside to help keep the bat legal (not get too hot) for USA play. They can get loose in the foam sometimes and make a little rattle. If you’re concerned with the rattle you can always contact Rawlings for replacement, but there is nothing wrong with the performance of the bat.
We bought the bat May 24th it arrived the 25th and cracked May 31st. We returned it to just bats and got a replacement. The bat is nice! My boys love the bat, but I’ll be honest it’s a fragile bat, the second bat I told my boys to only use it during games. We shall see how this one holds up. – we took maybe 200 hits both at the game and cage combined.

Love the bat lots of pop but today it started to rattle and now the handle completely spins separate from the barrel. We have less then 200 swings were very careful breaking it in. Has anyone had this issue.
