What can possibly compete with the $500 composite BBCOR bats on the market?
Victus is showing the DeMarinis and Louisville Sluggers of the world that Victus is here to play ball with the big boys… and they are bringing the game changing, 1-piece alloy Victus Vandal BBCOR with them.
We swung the all new Victus Vandal BBCOR bat the past few weeks and we have been blown away with the performance. Victus created the Vandal baseball bat lineup after years of tinkering and refining designs and ideas to get more out of the bat.
We put about 1000 swings on the Vandal BBCOR and we think it’s better than the Slugger Meta BBCOR that is now banned in certain sizes. The ball was coming off the Vandal HOT.
The Vandal is a top 3 BBCOR bat right now. The Marucci Cat 8 Black BBCOR is very good as well.
There was zero stinging and vibration when swinging the Vandal. The bat feels solid in your hands and on contact with the baseball. It’s been a while since we were so excited about a BBCOR bat, but the ball just feels like it launches off the barrel.
One Piece Aluminum Hybrid Design
The Vandal is a 1 piece bat, with a composite barrel-end wrap around. The composite on the end of the bat reduces weight and lowers the M.O.I. for added bat speed. We noticed the Vandal BBCOR felt light and easy to swing for sure.
Ring Free Barrel
Unlike DeMarini and Slugger, the Victus design has NO rings in the barrel. Rings in the barrel are a way to make poorly thought out BBCOR bats pass the BBCOR standard test. It is simply a band-aid that creates dead spots in the barrel. Rings in the barrel are bad, and are an easy, cheap way out designing a good bat.
Super Balanced Build Construction
Less weight in the end of the bat makes the Vandal BBCOR faster through the hitting zone.
Pro Tapered Handle and Custom Micro Perforated Grip
Pro taper like most pros use provides more control from the top hand, as well as a more ergonomically correct fit and feel.
