Very few people predicted how the new USA bat standard was going to work itself out. The public really was kept in the dark about how USA bats would perform. Rawlings, by genius or luck, introduced the 5150 USA baseball bat. With length to weight ratios of minus 10 and minus 11 ounces the 2018 5150 instantly became a best seller. Nobody else yet had a light weight, big barrel USA bat on the market anywhere close to $100, and Rawlings sold a ton of 5150 USA bats.
One season later, Rawlings is bringing a new look for the 2019 5150. I am told by someone I know at Rawlings that there is no change to the bat aside from the paint job.

Reading your post you say that you love the Rawlings 5150. By any chance have you been able to compare it vs other “USA” bats ? If so, which ones have you used, in making your comparison ?
