We’ll let you know what the best 2020 baseball bats are based on our hands on testing, and on field bat reviews from actual baseball players.
Best 2020 USA Bats
1st Place – 2020 Easton ADV USA
Our Bat of the Year Award for USA baseball goes to the 2020 Easton ADV USA line of baseball bats. The 2020 Easton ADV USA bats are far and away the most popular USA baseball bats when it comes to sales volume, and it’s not even close. The 2020 Easton ADV -11 ounce has sold so well that Easton is starting to run out of certain sizes, but -12 ounce, -10 ounce, -8 ounce, and -5 ounce are still readily available. Great pop off the barrel. Soft, rubberized feeling knob. Massive barrel and sweet spot. Excellent sound. Various weight options. Easton came out swinging with it’s 2020 USA bat line.
2nd Place – 2020 Rawlings Quatro USA
Once again, the Rawlings Quatro Pro delivers consistent performance off the barrel, zero vibration, and a very balanced feel. The Rawlings Quatro is very similar to the Easton ADV, but the Easton ADV USA bats just barely come out on top due to things like the soft knob.
3rd Place – Marucci Cat USA
The Marucci Cat USA baseball bat is a carryover from last year. At $149 the Cat USA is a STEAL for a top quality 2020 USA baseball bat. The pop is tremendous, the sounds is great, the vibration dampening knob works incredibly well. There are other good one piece, all metal USA bats out there, but they are $40- $60 higher in price, and the none of them have the vibration dampening knob like the Cat USA, so we do not recommend them when compared to the value of the Cat USA.
Wall of Shame – Bats we do not recommend
DeMarini CF Zen USA Bat – Our 2020 CF Zen tester bat, along with many from 2019, snapped in half at the midway point where the handle and barrel meet. The performance is average for a $350 bat, there is some vibration in the hands, but the durability is embarrassing. We have seen this breakage from a surprisingly high amount of two piece DeMarini bats over the past 2 years. Probably stay away from any two piece DeMarini until they fix this issue.
