BatReviews.com exists for one reason: to give players, parents, and coaches an honest place to figure out which bat is actually worth buying. The bat world is full of marketing hype, $400 price tags, and "best ever" claims on every model. We cut through it with straight talk and a consistent scoring system.

30 years in the bat industry

This isn't a site built by someone who Googled "best BBCOR bat" last week. It's grounded in three decades around the bat business — knowing how bats are actually built, how performance claims hold up, how models change year to year, and how each brand really treats players and dealers. That experience is baked into every score.

How we score

Every bat gets a 0–10 rating across a six-category scorecard, weighted toward what actually matters at the plate — sweet spot, pop, feel and sound, and durability. We deliberately keep swing weight and value out of the grade, because those are about fit and price, not better-or-worse. You can read the full method on our How We Score page.

Independent — and honest about the money

We don't take payment from manufacturers to raise a score, and no bat climbs our rankings because it earns us more. The site is free to read, and we keep it running through affiliate links: if you buy through one of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's the whole business model, and it never moves a rating. The details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
