Tee Ball Bats We Like

The only things that actually matter

• Length: most 4–7 year olds do best with a 24–26" bat. Quick check — have them hold it straight out to the side; if the end droops, go shorter.
• Weight: light is right. A big drop (−11 to −13) means an easy-to-swing bat, which is far more fun than a heavy one.
• The stamp: most leagues require a USA Baseball (USABat) mark — every bat here has it. Double-check your league's rules to be safe.
• Price: they'll grow out of it in a season or two, so there's no need to spend big. A fun, affordable bat is perfect.
• Fun: honestly, let them choose the colors. A bat they're excited about is a bat they'll want to swing.
