The newly updated USSSA travel ball Marucci Cat 9 Connect and Cat 9 bats are here. We were graciously given the opportunity to take some pictures of the new Marucci Cat 9 bats alongside the Cat 8 and Cat 7 Silver bats, but we were not allowed to swing the bats at the time of photography.

We should have our demo bats this week as we are getting our test bats this week – we’ll let you know how they compare to the Cat 7 and Cat 8, as well as how they feel and compare to the Victus Vandal USSSA bats.

There will be a Marucci Cat 9 BBCOR bat and a Cat 9 Connect BBCOR bat to follow in the middle of September, 2020.

For USSSA travel ball bats there are three weight drops on the Marucci Cat 9 – minus 10 ounce, minus 8 ounce, minus 5 ounce, and a minus 10 ounce Junior Big Barrel for the young kids.

In the USSSA Marucci Cat 9 Connect (Hybrid with composite handle and aluminum barrel) there are three weight drops as well – minus 10 ounce, minus 8 ounce, and minus 5 ounce.
