Why this score: Mizuno's triple-wall build earns a high durability score and the LINK connection gives a clean feel; the compact 12-inch barrel keeps sweet spot lower and the end load runs the swing weight a touch heavy.

Our Review

The 2021 Crush End Load carries Mizuno's reputation for build quality into a power-oriented USSSA bat. The Black Onyx Carbon triple-wall barrel is designed to boost durability with a shorter break-in, and the two-piece LINK technology reduces vibration to the hands so contact feels solid even on the heavier end-loaded swing. The 12-inch barrel is compact compared with the longer 13-inch power bats, concentrating mass for hitters who consistently find center, while the optimized end cap is tuned to add a booming sound and a larger sweet spot. A thin Micro-Whip grip rounds out the feel. It carries USSSA, NSA and ISA approval with the 1.20 BPF stamp. As a discontinued model it is a resale and closeout pickup now, and a solid one for hitters who value Mizuno durability.
