The three-piece design mounts an Armor Enhanced Alloy barrel, hot out of the wrapper, to a lightweight composite handle through a connection joint that virtually eliminates vibration. The result is a large, forgiving sweet spot with a clean feel and a balanced swing. The Axe handle is genuinely different and takes adjustment, and resale can be limited because the asymmetric design is niche, but for hitters who buy in it is one of the more comfortable and durable hybrids available.
