How we score ↗How big and forgiving the barrel is — based on barrel length, construction (one- vs two-piece, alloy vs composite), and how it plays on balls hit off the center. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: Full 13" barrel, and the two-piece build forgives a bit more than a one-piece.
Raw exit velocity and distance. We use measured numbers from freely available independent testing when they exist; otherwise construction and consensus, judged against the certification’s performance ceiling. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: .75 oz end load on a 13" composite barrel — built for drive.
Comfort and feedback on contact — vibration dampening from the knob/connection, the sting of a stiff one-piece vs a smooth two-piece, and the sound off the barrel. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: Two-piece connection damps sting; slightly less direct feedback.
How well it holds up and how the company stands behind it — documented cracking/denting reports, cold-weather behavior, and the brand’s real warranty record. Good to know, but weighted lightly in the score.
This bat: KCM-6X / X-Core 2 composite with a 1-year warranty.
Our take on price-for-performance — the overall package weighed against its cost and what comparable bats run. Shown for context; it is NOT factored into the overall score (price changes too often and is personal).
This bat: $299.99 — in line with the boutique end-loaded field.
Why this score: Scored as a moderate-end-load two-piece composite from a boutique brand, in line with Anarchy's 2026 two-piece end-loads: power grades high, swing weight modestly. No lab data yet — first-pass scores.
Our Review
The GOAT 2-Piece End Loaded is the power build of Anarchy's late-September 2026 GOAT drop. It pairs a 13-inch composite barrel with a two-piece connection and a .75-ounce end load, so there is real mass out past the hands for hitters who drive through the ball. Like its one-piece sibling it comes in two certifications: USSSA (ASPGOAT26U) on the KCM-6X barrel and USA/ASA (ASPGOAT26A) on the X-Core 2 barrel, each in 25, 26 and 27 oz, with a one-year warranty on both. A .75 oz load is a moderate end load by slowpitch standards — more than a balanced bat, less than the 1 oz-plus builds in Anarchy's line — which makes this the more versatile of the two GOATs: strong gap-to-gap hitters can still control it, and true power hitters get help from the end cap. The two-piece design is the other half of the appeal; it takes the edge off cold-weather mishits that a one-piece transmits straight to the hands. Against the rest of Anarchy's two-piece end-loads (Vibranium, Temptation, Free Smoke) it should sit in the same tier. No lab has measured the GOAT yet, so these are first-pass scores that we will revisit once independent numbers appear.
