The standard CB15 is a large-barrel maple cut to Beltran's specs, pairing a thin handle with a slightly end-loaded balance so it generates power while staying swingable. The bone-rubbed surface adds hardness for loud contact and durability. The thin handle is comfortable but transmits more sting on mis-hits than a thicker-handled turn, and like any single-piece maple it can crack on dense inside contact.
