Why this score: Sweet spot leads because the 14" barrel is the whole point of this SKU. Power matches the 12.75" KP23 one-piece (same load, same construction). Our Review
The 14" KP23 is the big-barrel option in Miken's Kyle Pearson line, dropped in September 2026 as part of a two-bat Worlds release. It keeps the TRI-ZONE construction — a composite layup with distinct flex regions that spreads the responsive area from the taper out to the cap — but adds three-quarters of an inch of barrel over the standard 12.75" one-piece. Practically, that means more hitting surface and a longer usable sweet spot without changing the bat's balance point much, since the extra length comes off the taper rather than stacking mass at the end. The Mid Flex handle sits between the stiff Pro Flex and the whippier feel of Miken's two-piece bats, so the one-piece still gives honest feedback but isn't punishing. The .5 oz Maxload is the same as the rest of the family. It is certified for USSSA 1.20 BPF, NSA and ISA — no USA/ASA stamp, so check your league. Sizing is 34" only, in 25 through 28 oz. No independent exit-velocity testing on this exact SKU has been published yet; scores are set against the 12.75" KP23 one-piece and the 2024 14" KP23 and should be treated as a first pass until real hitting data lands.
