How we score ↗How big and forgiving the barrel is — based on barrel length, construction (one- vs two-piece, alloy vs composite), and how it plays on balls hit off the center. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: 12.75-inch V1.2 barrel with layered fiber sequencing.
Raw exit velocity and distance. We use measured numbers from freely available independent testing when they exist; otherwise construction and consensus, judged against the certification’s performance ceiling. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: Ya-Ya end load on a stiff one-piece.
Comfort and feedback on contact — vibration dampening from the knob/connection, the sting of a stiff one-piece vs a smooth two-piece, and the sound off the barrel. A primary driver of the overall score.
This bat: One-piece with mid-stiff DHT.
How well it holds up and how the company stands behind it — documented cracking/denting reports, cold-weather behavior, and the brand’s real warranty record. Good to know, but weighted lightly in the score.
This bat: One-year warranty; one-piece composites can crack under heavy use.
Our take on price-for-performance — the overall package weighed against its cost and what comparable bats run. Shown for context; it is NOT factored into the overall score (price changes too often and is personal).
This bat: Full $299.99 price with no current discount.
Why this score: Scored identically to the 2026 Victus NOX Ya-Ya Load 1-Piece 12.75, which shares the construction, barrel and load. No lab data exists for this model.
Our Review
The 2026 Victus Vibe 36 is a one-piece composite USSSA slowpitch bat in a pink-and-purple splatter finish. The 12.75-inch V1.2 barrel is a high-flex layup designed to compress hard at contact and snap back, built on a single-piece frame so there is no lag between the swing and the barrel's response. Victus says the fiber and resin combination breaks in quickly, and layered fiber sequencing is meant to widen the sweet spot. Dynamic Handle Technology in a mid-stiff setting handles vibration, and the Ya-Ya load puts power weighting behind the barrel. Mechanically this is the same recipe as the Victus NOX Ya-Ya Load 1-Piece we have already reviewed — same barrel length, same load, same one-piece construction and price — in a different graphic, so we have scored it alongside that bat. It runs 25, 26 and 27 oz, is certified USSSA, NSA and ISA, and carries a one-year warranty. Pick it for the direct one-piece feel and the fast break-in; if you want a softer hands feel, the two-piece Vibe 14 or NOX two-piece is the better match.
