Why this score: The Quatro Pro shines on swing weight and feel — the concaved end cap makes it one of the most balanced composites of its era, and the two-piece build is smooth. Sweet spot and power are strong once broken in. Durability is typical for a composite of this generation, and value is good at clearance pricing.

Our Review

For 2019 the Quatro Pro sat at the top of Rawlings' USSSA composite lineup, competing with the Easton ADV-era bats and the DeMarini CF. It is a two-piece, fully composite build with a re-engineered carbon-fiber barrel and a reconstructed collar assembly that focuses the flex point for a smooth, responsive feel. A concaved lightweight end cap pulls weight out of the barrel end, giving the bat one of the most balanced, low-swing-weight feels in its class. That makes it a natural fit for younger travel hitters and contact hitters who prize bat speed and control over raw end-load. Performance is genuinely good for a composite of its generation; the trade-off is that, like most premium composites, it benefits from a break-in period before it reaches full pop. As a previous-generation premium stick at clearance pricing, it is a strong value.
