Why this score: The Quatro Pro scores highest on swing weight and feel thanks to its suspended inner barrel and smooth two-piece build. Durability is the soft spot given reports of cracking, and pure power hitters give up a little mass. Closeout pricing keeps value strong.

Our Review

The Quatro Pro built its reputation on feel and speed: the Suspended Inner Barrel pulls weight toward the hands for a genuinely light swing, the Longitudinal Flex composite layering adds trampoline across a big barrel, and the Focused Flex collar stiffens the connection to cut barrel drag while still damping vibration. For contact hitters and anyone chasing bat speed, it is one of the easiest BBCOR bats to swing fast. The knock that followed the line was durability, with some hitters reporting cracking, so it grades a notch below the most rugged composites. At closeout pricing, though, the combination of a big barrel and a feathery swing is hard to beat.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Suspended Inner Barrel gives one of the lightest swings in BBCOR
  • Big barrel with strong trampoline from the Longitudinal Flex composite
  • Focused Flex collar keeps the connection stiff while damping vibration

Cons

  • Durability has been a recurring concern with some reports of cracking
  • Light swing gives away some mass for pure power hitters
