Our Review
The 2023 Ghost Double Barrel is the standard two-piece Ghost that made the franchise the benchmark in fastpitch. It uses Easton's Double Barrel construction, joining a low-compression Sonic Comp outer barrel with a lightweight inner barrel through the ConneXion joint, which separates handle from barrel to dampen vibration and deliver the dialed-in, flexier feel that distinguishes it from the stiffer one-piece Ghost Unlimited. The swing is balanced and easy to control, making it a fit for slappers and contact hitters as much as power bats. It plays hot with little break-in. As with all Ghost composite bats, long-term durability is the lone caution, so the conservative mark there is deserved. Now discontinued, it tends to sell at meaningfully lower prices than it launched at, which makes it an appealing value for hitters who want the true two-piece Ghost feel.
