Axe's signature angled handle is the headline feature, designed to let a hitter square the barrel more consistently and load the same face every swing, and it is paired here with the brand's most advanced barrel. The Power Gap dual-wall design puts a thin air gap between two composite walls to extend hot performance across the length of the barrel, while the Charged Carbon+ layup and HyperWhip end cap keep the swing balanced and the feel responsive. A shock-suspension connection takes the sting out of mishits. As a full composite it benefits from a short break-in before the barrel fully opens up. It is a premium-priced bat and the Axe handle is a feel some hitters need to adapt to, but for a fastpitch hitter who wants a big, even sweet spot and a comfortable grip, it is one of the more distinctive options on the market.
