Why this score: A strong elite-level one-piece composite with a well-tuned barrel and direct feel. The one-piece feedback and limited availability keep it just below the very top of the category.

Our Review

Mizuno's 2025 F25 CRBN1 is a one-piece all-composite fastpitch bat built around X-Zone Technology, which adjusts the composite angles across ten key zones of the barrel to enlarge and tune the sweet spot. The one-piece construction gives a stiff, direct, connected feel through contact that hitters who want feedback tend to prefer over a flexier two-piece. This Limited Edition runs a black carbon and teal finish and is aimed squarely at elite-level players. As a single-piece composite it transmits a bit more feedback on mishits than a dampened two-piece, and limited-edition stock means availability comes and goes.

Also worth a look: Easton Ghost Unlimited — our top fastpitch pick — the benchmark for feel and pop.
