2026 Easton Pro 110 Maple Wood Bat Review
Easton's pro-grade maple in the all-around 110 turn — a balanced, thicker-handled bat for contact hitters who want to spray the ball to all fields.
The Score
How we score ↗The grade, density and grain of the billet — slope-of-grain, ink-dot certification, and whether it’s a true pro-cut. The headline for a wood bat. A primary driver of the overall score.
Barrel size and the turn-model profile (110/243/271/I13 and the like) — how much hitting surface and forgiveness the shape gives you.
How the wood feels and sounds at contact — the flex/stiffness of the handle, and the crack off a quality billet.
How well the wood holds up — density and grain quality (and, for composite wood, engineered toughness). Far more important on a wood bat than on alloy.
How hard the ball comes off for a wood bat — real, but a lighter factor here since wood isn’t about chasing max exit velocity.
Quality per dollar versus comparable pro-grade or composite wood. Shown for context; NOT factored into the overall score.
Why this score: The balanced 110 turn earns a high swing-weight score; the thicker handle and shorter barrel hold back power; rock-hard maple gives solid feel and durability; value is good for pro-grade maple.
Our Review
The Pro 110 is built around the most user-friendly turn Easton makes: a 110 with a thicker handle, a long taper and a medium barrel, finished with a cupped end for balance. The payoff is an extremely balanced swing feel that lets contact hitters stay short and drive the ball to all fields. Easton uses its rock-hard maple, hand-crafted in the USA, so the barrel is dense and lively. It is not a power turn — the thicker handle and shorter barrel cap how much mass you get behind the ball — but for bat control it is one of the easier wood bats to handle. Note this is an established model that Easton's online dealers carry inconsistently, so availability can vary; check current stock before buying.
