Our Review

The Voodoo One's pitch hasn't changed for 2027: maximum bat speed from a one-piece X14 alloy, trimmed to a listed 8750 MOI at 33" with a lightweight Tracer composite end cap, tapered handle, and Damplify knob. Sizing runs the full 30"–34" including half sizes. For a strong-handed contact hitter moving up to -3, that swing weight is genuinely useful, and the alloy barrel pops from day one. The trade-offs are the honest ones for this design: a smaller effective sweet spot than the big hybrids, and real sting on cold-day mishits despite the knob. History matters here too — earlier Voodoo One generations had a documented cracking-and-denting problem that the company itself addressed with a reinforced knob in 2024, and warranty turnaround complaints have persisted across the line. Independent lab testing of the 2026 model measured elite exit velocities, so the speed formula works; go in with eyes open on the ownership side.

Also worth a look: Combat Spec A1 — the benchmark one-piece alloy, with a bigger sweet spot and a clean durability record.
