The trade-offs are the honest ones for this design: a smaller effective sweet spot than the big hybrids, and real sting on cold-day mishits despite the knob. History matters here too — earlier Voodoo One generations had a documented cracking-and-denting problem that the company itself addressed with a reinforced knob in 2024, and warranty turnaround complaints have persisted across the line.
