Our Review
The Tango sits between Easton's entry Speed and its flagship BBCOR bats. It's a one-piece ALX100 alloy, which is the same grade Easton uses in mid-tier bats up and down its line, with a barrel Easton describes as tuned rather than simply extruded and a tapered handle profile for cleaner barrel control. A concave end cap trims end weight and a 1.8mm Flex grip finishes it, and it comes in 31" through 34". In practice this is the classic value-alloy formula and it does that job well: balanced swing, immediate response, no break-in, no weather concerns. Where it falls short of the $300–$450 bats is sweet-spot size and feel; jam shots ring the hands and the barrel rewards the middle two inches far more than the ends. We scored the 2025 Tango (EBB5TNG3) at 6.2 and the 2027 description reads as the same construction with the price up $20 to $129.99, so that carries as a first pass. Buy it for a freshman or JV player who needs a legal -3 that will last, not for a hitter chasing exit velocity.
