Our Review

The Atlas 2.0 is the follow-up to Slugger's one-piece alloy line, launching August 26, 2026. The spec sheet leans on computation: the EVX Alloy Tech barrel's wall thicknesses were tuned through expanded simulation work, and Slugger claims the largest sweet spot an Atlas has carried. A Tuned Mass Damper in the handle addresses the sting that one-piece alloys earn, and the XPND end cap trims swing weight to keep the profile balanced. Sizing is generous, running 29" to 34" including two half sizes. Early independent hitting sessions reported very fast exit velocities — promising for the class — and we'll score the bat once it's on shelves and real data accumulates. Worth remembering as context: the original Atlas drew documented complaints of premature denting, and this brand's warranty turnaround has been a recurring sore point, so the 2.0's durability story is the thing to watch.
