The PWR Alloy USSSA is the travel-ball sibling of the PWR Alloy USA bat we've already covered: the same aerospace-grade aluminum and Multiband Barrel design, which layers multiple wall thicknesses along the barrel to widen the speed spot, in the full 2 3/4" USSSA profile. It's one piece, balanced, -10 in 28" through 31", with a cushioned grip, the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp and a one-year warranty, for $99.95. That price is the story. USSSA is a composite league at the top, and a $100 alloy is not going to trade exit speeds with a Hype Fire or a RCKLESS Comp. What it does is give a first-year travel player or a rec-league team a legitimate big-barrel bat that is ready on the first swing, doesn't care about the weather and will survive a season. The Multiband design gives it a wider hitting area than a plain single-wall alloy at this price. Feel is what one-piece alloy feel is at this level; inside pitches sting. Note the model number: Mizuno carries the B24 code on this bat, which suggests a design that has been in the line for a while under a new year label.
