It carries the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp and it costs $99.99. On the field it does what an entry alloy does: instant response, a compact sweet spot, and durability that shrugs off being dragged, dropped and shared. A composite junior bat like the Hype Fire JBB will hit harder and swing lighter, at three times the price. For a 6-to-8-year-old in their first coach-pitch or kid-pitch tournaments, that difference rarely matters, and the peppers do. It's a sensible first travel bat.
