Why this score: First-pass score: a loaded one-piece with Easton's newest 232 Flex+ barrel should hang right with the Tantrum power builds, priced a step below them. No independent lab numbers exist yet for the Marsh line; will update when compression/exit-velo data lands.

Our Review

The 2026 Easton Marsh 1-Piece Loaded (ESU6MRSH1L) is the first bat in Easton's new Marsh Signature Series, built with slowpitch star Tyler Marshburn. It pairs the new 232 Flex+ barrel technology — a plural-resin, five-flex-zone layup designed for variable compression across the barrel — with a one-piece frame and the stiffer Flex 150 handle, so all of that barrel flex feeds straight back into the ball. The 12.75-inch barrel and half-ounce end load put it squarely in power-hitter territory, and the Power Boost Soft Knob gives the bottom hand extra leverage without chewing it up. Like most fresh composites it will want a break-in before the barrel fully wakes up, and the loaded one-piece build asks for real bat speed. At $299.99 it undercuts Easton's own Tantrum flagship line while running newer barrel tech, which makes it an interesting value play for USSSA, ISA, and NSA players.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • New 232 Flex+ variable-compression barrel in its debut season
  • Stiff one-piece build sends energy straight to the ball
  • 12.75-inch barrel with a genuine half-ounce end load for power
  • Undercuts the Tantrum flagship line on price

Cons

  • Needs a composite break-in period before peak pop
  • Loaded one-piece is demanding for average swing speeds
  • Brand-new tech with no season-long durability track record yet
