Where the one-piece Marsh runs a 12.75-inch barrel, this one goes compact: a 12-inch barrel with Easton's new 232 Technology, hung on the CXN MC+ connection with a Flex 180 handle. The handle is deliberately stiffer than a standard two-piece handle — the idea is to load energy into the connection and barrel rather than losing it in handle bend, so contact feels firm and connected instead of mushy. The shorter barrel concentrates mass and quickens the swing for a loaded bat, and the two-piece build filters vibration on mis-hits. Hitters who want maximum barrel length will prefer the 12.75-inch one-piece; hitters who want whip and a smoother feel with the same new barrel tech should look here. Approved for USSSA, ISA, and NSA play at $299.99.
