Why this score: First-pass score, clearly labeled: no independent exit-velocity data yet for the 2027 edition. Anchored to the 2026 Juggy EXT (7.7) and 2026 Juggy USSSA (7.7). Durability and value reflect DeMarini's documented double-wall barrel issues, not brand preference.

Our Review

The Juggy Extended is the one bat in DeMarini's 2027 slowpitch lineup that carries both the USSSA and USA (ASA) stamps, and that flexibility is why it exists: a player who bounces between a USSSA tournament on Saturday and a USA-sanctioned league on Tuesday can carry one bat. The build is a 13" end-loaded, double-walled Stacked Composite barrel using DeMarini's Stack3d double-wall construction, on a stiff TR3 F.L.O composite handle, built in Hillsboro, Oregon. Retail listings put it at $299.95 in 34"/25, 26 and 27oz, in a black and gold colorway, legal in USSSA, ISA, NSA, USA (ASA) and WBSC play. Performance-wise, the Juggy name is DeMarini's power line and the extended 13" barrel and end-load fit that. A dual-stamp barrel is tuned to pass the tighter USA standard, so a USSSA-only power hitter will get a little more out of the USSSA-only Juggy or Vanilla Gorilla; the trade is versatility for a couple of mph. We scored the 2026 Juggy EXT (USA) at 7.7 and carry that anchor here. Durability stays at 6.0: DeMarini's double-wall slowpitch barrels have a well-documented record of cracking and developing dead spots inside a season, and while the warranty covers it, the downtime doesn't get covered. Value reflects a $300 bat with that caveat.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Dual USSSA + USA (ASA) stamp — one bat for players who compete across sanctioning bodies
  • 13" extended barrel with Stack3d double-wall construction, built to be hot out of the wrapper
  • Stiff TR3 F.L.O handle keeps the end-loaded swing connected
  • $299.95 undercuts the $349 Juggy USSSA and the 2026 Juggy EXT

Cons

  • DeMarini's Stack3d double-wall slowpitch barrels have a documented cracking and dead-spot history; warranty turnaround is the real cost
  • A dual-stamp barrel has to satisfy the stricter USA standard, so USSSA-only hitters give up some pop against the pure USSSA Juggy
  • End-load plus 13" barrel is a lot of bat for a contact hitter
